Danielle earned her B.A. in Psychology from St. John's University in 2024. Before joining the BABLab, she worked with Dr. Nabila Dahodwala in the Parkinson's and Movement Disorder at Upenn examining racial disparities and biomarkers in Parkinson's disease.

Her research interests focus on understanding how stress and trauma shape health and mental health across the lifespan. She is particularly interested in identifying factors that promote resilience and positive adaptation following adversity, as well as the sociocultural influences that contribute to these outcomes. Her broader research interests include developing and implementing culturally responsive, accessible prevention and intervention strategies to promote equitable health and mental health outcomes in underserved communities.

Outside of the lab, she enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, reading , and exploring new coffee shops!
