Mary Ford is a Study Coordinator for the Teen Bugs project in the Brain and Body Lab (BabLab). Her research interests center on affect and the brain-body connection, with a particular focus on interoception—how individuals perceive and interpret internal bodily signals. She has studied interoception in the context of maternal-fetal attachment and mother-infant bonding, and is broadly interested in how interoceptive sensibility shapes social and cognitive processes.
